Two points of view.... Who's right?!
This explains two completelty deifferent stories dfrom different sides. One is biased towards Israel and one towards Turkey. Which is correct the only way to find out is to compare the facts with what we have heard before and beleive.

These are just a few images which connote just how badly the media and people in general represent Jews and how idiotic images such as the one representing Obama as a Jew. This is a stupid joke or accusation, he is Christian! Another wrong representation is that Israel is being bullyed the rtruth is other ountries are trying to but its Israel who are winning all the fights and then even when they do not start them they get the bad press. The bottom picture shows that the same case goes for Arabs although these are exaggerations, they are not completely faulse.

Who's right!
This is a debate between a jewish man called Norman Finkelstein who works as an author. He although jewish believes that Israel was in the wrong and tries to convince us that the Turkish had every right to do what they did. On the other hand is co-director Daniel Pollak, zionist organization of America, who defends and disputes the matter and set facts straight with Norman and is pro-Israel. The news comes from RT studios Washington DC.
Daniel is constantly interrupted and points are currently repeated by Norman, he says a few good points but some are simply irrelevant and based on the past.
The only real question mark is whether there really is very different footage to be seen but Norman said that the video would appear and it hasn't yet so his credibility seems questionable.
Why all the hatred and the conflict?!
This explains why there is so much hatred between many Arabs and Jews although this is not the only reason. This has been going on for countless years and this article explains why by referring to examples and linking his facts to passages to the Torah and the Qur'an. It also seems to been non-biased as it reminds us not to believe that Jews and Arabs all hate each other and what to kill one another.

How can we be so ignorant, and critical of Jewish and American media, when the Arab media is doing the same, if not more derogatory representation of them. This has turned out to be a two way street, and one cannot fall out as long as negative representation of the other survives...
Unfair treatment of Muslims in the US
Yusuf Islam, the former pop singer known as Cat Stevens, was deported from the United States yesterday after immigration officials said he was on a terrorism list.
Mr Islam, a Muslim convert, was on a flight to Washington when the FBI ordered the plane to divert to Maine, 600 miles away, on the grounds that he was a security threat. Mr Islam, 56, and his 21-year-old daughter were marched off the plane by FBI agents. Within hours, he was deported to Britain.
A spokesman for the US Department of Homeland Security said Mr Islam was on the "watch list" because of his "known associations and financial support to organisations believed to be aiding terrorism". Officials said intelligence reports suggested he had given money to Hamas.
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) reacted angrily to the singer's deportation and warned that it could wreck the "bridge building" between the West and the Islamic world.
Muhammad Abdul Bari, deputy secretary general of the MCB and a friend of Mr Islam, said: "Yusuf is known as one of the most moderate and reasonable Muslims who does a lot of work for charity and campaigns for peace. I cannot imagine how he came to be on such a list. This is a slap in the face for the bridge building between the communities which we have all been working for."
Mr Islam became a Muslim in 1976. He has condemned the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks and campaigned against the war in Iraq.
In 2000, he was deported from Israel after the authorities there claimed he had donated money to Hamas, allegations that he vehemently denied.
Mr Islam's name is believed to have been added to the US list only recently, and friends say he was not aware that he was regarded as a security threat.
He had visited the US in May with no problems, and had been allowed to board the United Airlines London to Washington flight on Tuesday by British immigration officials.
His status on the list was only discovered after the flight had left Heathrow with 280 passengers on board, including members of the rock band Marillion. As the Boeing 747 neared its destination, passengers were told the flight was being diverted to Bangor, Maine, because of bad weather.
Marillion's singer, Steve Hogarth, said: "After about 10 minutes, the captain made another announcement saying it was in fact an FBI security alert. I then met a security guard who said the two people escorted off were Cat Stevens and his daughter. I was stunned. He is a pacifist and a great songwriter."
Mr Islam's daughter was allowed to remain, and the plane continued to Dulles airport, while he was sent back to Britain. A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "The reasons for his detention and return are obviously a matter for the US and not for us."
Mr Islam was born Steven Demetre Georgiou to a Greek Cypriot father and Swedish mother. He found fame in the 1970s with hits such as "Morning Has Broken" and "Wild World", and underwent his religious conversion after he nearly drowned while swimming off the Malibu coast in 1976. After the World Trade Centre attacks, he issued a statement saying: "No right-thinking follower of Islam could possibly condone such an action. The Koran equates the murder of one innocent person with the murder of the whole of humanity."

Do Jews Control the Media?
This is video showing the hate by many people for the Jews making wild accusations. This video although made to look reasonably professional uses one source to get all its 'facts'. The quotes are from one person who could be getting this completely wrong. Some of the people sated as being Jewish are merely a minuscule amount of the whole mass media in America. Some names stated as being Jewish i cannot find over the Internet as being clearly Jewish. One person commented on this video by saying: Jewish people are white people who follow a different religion. anyone here could convert to Judaism if they wanted.
all this info is irrelevant. Just like most everyone is the same religion as their parents. Jews vs 'white' people is a stupid comparison, there can be black Jews and Asian Jews just as there can be any color of christian or Buddhist. It means nothing and will do nothing.Friday, 18 June 2010
Stevo's intro:
After just having set up a blog for my media practical i have decided to join up with Patrick Madureira and set up a new one! We both came to this conclusion after realizing that both of us had similar topics, although we both believe in different things. While Patrick Madureira is more pro-Islamic and i am pro-Israel this will make us research good information and publish it on our new blog, debating everything we can in depth. We will pay the majority of out attention towards the flotilla crisis and the on going gaza battles. This will be very time consuming but we intend to produce quality information from both sides of stories and try to come to the right conclusion. Please join us as followers if you are interested in the subject and let us know about your opinions, likes and dislikes. This is it!
Introduction
Well this is the second blog that both me and steven are doing. We decided to work together because we had very similar ideas on what we wanted to do for our practical, and because documentaries are extremely time consuming and need a lot of work, we thought that it would be much more efficient and that we would make a better project in the end if we worked together. We are planning to do a documentary on how Islam and Judaism are represented in the Media, and also how they are conflicting with each other in the current problems around the world (i.e. the Flotilla crisis, and the ongoing gaza dilemma). Hopefully our project will turn our just as good as we hope it will. If you have any ideas, information, sites, and comments, please let us know.
